About Drake

I’ve been passionate about technology for over three decades, starting when dial-up was cutting edge. From the early days of home computing to today’s smart devices, my career has covered it all. With a background in system administration and networking, I have years of hands-on experience keeping systems running smoothly for homes and small businesses.

Beyond technical skill, trust is essential. My 30-year federal career required the highest security clearance, entrusting me with highly confidential information. I bring that same professional commitment of security and privacy to your home or office.

But more than just fixing technology, I enjoy helping people feel comfortable with it. I know tech can be frustrating, so I focus on providing clear, calm, and approachable support. Whether you're new to computers or just tired of things not working, I'm here with the patience and know-how to help.

Your Marin County IT Support

In-Person  •  Remote  •  Home  •  Office

Welcome to Tech with Drake! I’m your local resource for friendly, approachable tech support right here in Marin County. My mission is to take the stress and confusion out of technology, whether you need help at home or in a small office. I believe tech support should be personal—someone you can trust and actually talk to, not just another voice on the phone.

I offer a full range of services to make your technology work for you, not against you. From troubleshooting slow computers and setting up new devices to getting your home network running smoothly or recovering lost files, I’ve seen just about every tech challenge out there. If you need help with software problems, computer upgrades, or even just learning how to use a new feature, I’m happy to walk you through it step by step.

My support covers more than just PCs—I help with Macs, tablets, smartphones, printers, and Wi-Fi, too. Need help setting up cloud backups, connecting a smart home device, or figuring out email? I’ve got you covered. I also offer personalized computer tutoring to make sure you feel confident and independent with your technology.

Whatever brings you here, you’ll find practical solutions, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to making tech simple and stress-free. Take a look around—whether you’re interested in home computer repair, upgrades, networking, or tutoring, you’ll find more information on the pages listed in the menu.
